As a third-year student Electrical Engineering Stefano de Koning follows a traineeship at Pro-Fa from the end of August to 26 January.
“Pro-Fa supported our project team with excellent knowledge of MES systems during my second year at the Avans Technical College,” says Stefano. “So I already knew their decisiveness and I wanted to be part of that team. I am very pleased that I have been selected for this internship, because it fits exactly to my major Industrial Automation.”
Stefano appreciates the openness of his colleagues. “Everyone is willing to help and at Pro-Fa you get a fair chance to show your skills. Right now I am a member of a project team and I am exploring the possibilities for a UDP protocol based interface between the MES and the machine. I am sure that the outcome of my investigational work will be used In the future and that feels good.”
